Lucy is a hugely talented stand-up, comedy actress and writer from Hull. She starred in and co-wrote the highly-rated sitcom Meet The Richardsons (Dave), and co-wrote the Channel 4 series Hullraisers. She also hosted Jon & Lucy’s Odd Couples (Channel 4).

She was recently announced to be on the line up of the first ever celebrity series of The Traitors (BBC1). Previous to this, she has also appeared on numerous entertainment shows including Series 16 of Taskmaster (C4), as well as The Wheel (BBC1) and Would I Lie to You (BBC1). Her other appearances include The Great Celebrity Bake Off (C4), Cats Does Countdown (C4), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), World's Most Dangerous Roads (Dave), Sunday Brunch (C4), The One Show (BBC1), Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back (C4), Artsnight (BBC2), Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier (Dave), Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled (Dave), Lorraine (ITV), QI (BBC2), Drunk History (Comedy Central), What’s Going to Kill Us (C5), Live At The Electric (BBC Three).

She is the writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s To Hull and Back, with Maureen Lipman, and was nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out, for which she was described by Chortle as “irresistibly endearing”. Prior to this, she was the winner of The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer.

She is a proud daughter of Hull, and a fierce advocate of her hometown. Lucy was team captain for the University of Hull team on the University Challenge Christmas Special in 2019 (BBC2).

Lucy has performed in theatres and arenas across the UK, with her most recent tour being extended for three. She also has a number of radio credits including being a panellist on The Unbelievable TruthDilemmaThe Magical Faraway Tree, an Enid Blyton adaptation directed by Johnny Vegas (both BBC Radio 4), History Retweeted and Crush, a 90-minute monologue for which she received a Sony Radio Award..
